How do I get the card?
To ensure your safety and that of everyone else, the card is personal and non-transferable, and it must always be visible while you climb.(in the harness).
How much does the test cost?
Do I have to repeat the same test every time I go to Sharma Climbing centers?
What belay devices can I use at Sharma Climbing?
In our facilities, you can only use the Grigri (1, 2, 2+ renewed, and plus) for belaying.
What rope do I have to use for climbing at Sharma Climbing?
The ropes must have a minimum length of 50m, be certified for single use, and have a diameter approved by the Grigri.
Is the use of a helmet mandatory?
In the auto belay area, it is not allowed to use the helmet due to the risk of getting stuck and hanging from it. In the top rope and lead climbing area, it is highly recommended but not mandatory.
Can I use headphones while climbing?
You cannot use any device that isolates you audibly because, in case of accident prevention, everyone must have their auditory channel available to receive instructions, act, and/or assist. It is also not allowed to climb with anything that poses a risk of falling, such as headphones, phones, etc.
Can I practice safety maneuvers at Sharma Climbing?
Yes, but only in the designated areas on the ground.
Can I practice "false first" climbing in the self-belay area?
